FleXtents® Basic pop-up gazebos for occasional events and private use

FleXtents® Basic pop-up gazebos are affordable, portable shelters for garden parties, local markets, club activities and occasional promotions. The folding steel frame makes them quick to set up and easy to take along when you need a temporary covered space.

Choose Basic when you want straightforward setup and convenient transport for occasional use. If you regularly attend professional events or frequently put up and take down your gazebo, consider a series designed for more intensive use.

Quick to set up and easy to transport

A FleXtents® Basic has a folding frame with connected legs and roof bars, so you do not need to assemble these parts individually each time. Open the frame gradually, adjust the legs and secure the gazebo on the chosen surface.

Smaller models can usually be set up in a few minutes by at least two people familiar with the system. Allow enough space to open the frame, and follow the assembly instructions for your chosen model. Anchoring is part of the setup and must be completed before use.

After the event, the frame folds down for transport and storage. Check the folded dimensions and whether a suitable carry bag is included or available separately, especially if you need to fit the gazebo alongside other equipment in your car.

A steel frame for occasional use

The Basic series has a lightweight steel frame that offers a practical balance of portability and price. It suits customers who need temporary shelter from time to time, rather than equipment for a busy schedule of professional events.

Check the individual product description for the frame specifications, roof-cover material and water-resistance information. These details help you choose the right model and understand its intended use. The cover’s water-related properties do not mean that the complete gazebo can safely remain in place during heavy rain or severe weather.

Choose the size and sidewalls for your event

Start with what needs to fit under the roof. For a garden party, allow space for guests, tables and chairs. A market stall needs room for products, the people running it and access for customers. Check that your site also has enough room to unfold and anchor the gazebo safely.

An open gazebo allows access from several sides. Sidewalls can provide more enclosure and help define a sales area or sheltered gathering point. Check which sidewalls are available for your chosen Basic model and whether they are included in the price.

Before ordering FleXtents® accessories, confirm compatibility with the Basic series and the correct size. Roof covers, sidewalls and other parts are not necessarily interchangeable between series. If you want a printed gazebo or plan to place several gazebos together, check the available solutions and compatibility first.

When should you consider another FleXtents® series?

Basic is a sensible choice for occasional private events, club activities and small sales stands. If you expect frequent setup, regular transport or intensive professional use, compare it with FleXtents® PRO or FleXtents® Xtreme.

Look at the frame specifications, weight and intended use when comparing models. A more robust frame may suit a demanding event schedule, but every series still requires appropriate anchoring and attention to the weather.

Anchor the gazebo and watch the weather

Secure every leg, even when conditions seem calm. On grass or another suitable soft surface, use appropriate pegs and storm straps. On paving, asphalt or concrete, use weights or another anchoring solution suited to the gazebo and surface.

A Safety Pack may include some of the equipment you need. Check its contents against your setup. Sidewalls increase the surface exposed to wind, making correct anchoring especially important.

Check the forecast before your event and monitor conditions during use. FleXtents® Basic gazebos are temporary shelters: take them down when strong wind, heavy rain or other severe weather threatens. Anchoring does not make them safe in all conditions.

Let the roof cover and sidewalls dry completely before packing them away. If you need help choosing a size or compatible accessories, Dancover’s experts can help you find a Basic gazebo suited to your plans.
